Textile manufacturing Industry
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Conduct time & motion studies to establish standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies to optimize operations.
Work on line balancing and ensure optimal workforce utilization.
Develop and monitor production efficiency metrics such as SAM (Standard Allowed Minutes), efficiency %, and productivity.
Implement cost-saving measures and reduce production downtime.
Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Work on capacity planning to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production efficiency and performance.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within the textile or garment manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of work-study, time study, and motion study.
Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement tools.
Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.
Good understanding of fabric manufacturing, garment production processes, and machinery.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
